A huge turnout to Tauranga's first-ever night market has helped snag the weekend event for many more markets to come.
The Kiwi Night Market debuted on Elizabeth St on Saturday night, with more than 60 vendors selling all things from clothing, art, craft, food and jewellery.
Director Ross Rumble said he was overwhelmed with positive feedback from the hundreds of people who turned up.
"There was definitely enough people to make it happen again, that's for sure."
The next night market will take place again at the Elizabeth St carpark building this Saturday. It was expected to continue into summer, where the market was likely to increase in size and popularity, Mr Rumble said.
