Tauranga company Edvance wants local businesses to take part in its food drive by putting a donation box in their staffrooms.
The workplace education company aimed to get as many local businesses supporting its food drive as it could, and urged companies to collect donations of non-perishable food items and personal care products for the Tauranga Community Foodbank Christmas Appeal.
Edvance instructional designer Hayley McIsaac said because of the nature of their business, Edvance had an array of connections across the city that they would make use of for the drive.
She would be approaching businesses in coming days asking to put a donation box in their offices.
Ms McIsaac said she would collect the boxes on November 30.
