A tow truck to remove the vehicle was being arranged. Photo / File

A car crashed into a paddock near Whakatāne this afternoon.

Police were called at about 1pm following a reports that a car had crashed into a paddock on White Pine Bush Road, according to a police media spokesperson.

The crash did not block the road and the driver did not suffer any injuries, the spokesperson said.

A tow truck to remove the vehicle was being arranged.
