An event for business people who have recently arrived in Tauranga will be hosted by The Chamber of Commerce and Priority One this month.
The two-hour breakfast meeting on Wednesday 21 October is designed to introduce newcomers to local knowledge and networks.
"With so many new people coming to town, we felt it was time to put out the welcome mat and help ease the transition," said Chamber chief executive Stan Gregec.
"While Tauranga has many active business groups and networks, it can be daunting for new people to navigate their way through the maze to find the right connections. We hope our Breakfast Connect event will help smooth the way for some of the new arrivals," said Mr Gregec.
Both he and Priority One chief Andrew Coker will be at the event to answer questions about local business conditions and opportunities.
