A bus and campervan have crashed on Mount Maunganui's Hewletts Rd.

Police and St John ambulance staff have been called to the crash at the corner of Hocking St.

A police communication spokesman said a 111 call came in at 2.59pm that a bus and campervan had collided on Hewletts Rd near a car yard.

There were no reports of injuries or road blockages, and no further information was available at this time but a St John ambulance had been called, he said.
