Laurise Taylor, left, and Lynette Steele were on Devonport Rd at the weekend collecting for New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation's two-day Pink Ribbon Street Appeal.
Volunteer collectors were shaking their buckets at 30 sites across Tauranga and Mount Maunganui, plus a number of nearby towns.
Funds raised will aid research into targeted treatments, life-saving awareness and education programmes, as well as supporting women battling cancer.
