Waikite will host Rangataua Sports on Sunday in what is shaping up as a cracker Baywide Women's club rugby final.
Rangataua beat 2016 competition winners Rangiuru in last weekend's semifinals to win a place in the final at 1pm at Bellvue Road in Rotorua.
Rangataua coach Paul Pou says his side learnt a lot from their last encounter and hope to demonstrate an improved performance in the final.
"We learnt a lot about ourselves and about the opposition when we last played Waikite. We are asking our players to be consistent, understand their roles and make sure our defensive line stay strong.
"Line speed is good and accurate and we have great urgency this weekend. We need to play our game plan, to win our set piece and apply lots of pressure against a much bigger team.
