Saturday was a much calmer day for those affected by Friday's flooding.
Tauranga City Council communications adviser Marcel Currin said the council's call centre logged about 100 calls on Friday. About 80 were for tree-related issues.
"Calls quietened down by mid-afternoon and by Friday night the council's response team was scaled down as the weather had settled," he said.
It did not appear there were any more flooding related requests for assistance after 6pm on Friday, Currin said.
A total of 95mm of rain was recorded at Tauranga Airport from 12am Thursday to 12pm Sunday, according to MetService. The most rain fell at 7pm on Thursday, with the airport recording 12.6mm that hour.
