Owen Dippie's work has featured on the side of buildings, stickers and on fabricated steal. Now it has been used in a bed design to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
The artist has teamed up with Sealy Posturepedic and three other New Zealanders to take a creative stance against the disease. The four beds are now for auction on Trade Me and all proceeds raised from its sale will go to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
Artist Owen Dippie said over the years his Tiki had taken hundreds of different forms "from stickers on international streets to wood carvings and T-shirts".
"I'm so pleased the Tiki has now taken shape in a bed design for Sealy and I can join the fight against breast cancer."
