Juveniles were believed to have been targeting alcohol when they were arrested for two burglaries in Bethlehem overnight.

The two young people were caught after police were called to a report of suspicious activity in Athfield Drive about 1.30am.

While there, police heard a commotion down the road and another burglary was reported to police, Senior Sergeant Shannon Clifford said.

Mr Clifford said police used dogs to track the two youths, who have been referred to Youth Aid services.

He said police believed the two youths might have been targeting alcohol in the two break ins.
