A Tauranga man who faked a back injury so he could claim more than $25,000 in ACC payments while working as a truck driver has avoided jail.
Timothy Ellwood, 33, was sentenced in Tauranga District Court yesterday to three months' home detention.
He was ordered to pay back the $25,152 at $50
