A $10 million Jesus up for auction has failed to sell.
The large, 3D creation depicts the Last Supper and had been for sale on Trade Me for more than three weeks.
The artwork took Tauranga woman Fran Mens over three and a half years to make.
It weighs 250kg, measures 2.5 meters wide and 1.5m high.
A description of the piece said it was "waiting for the right place to stand for all to see!".
"Is a three dimensional sculpture comprising of cement, rock, oak , copper. Wired up with lighting , disciples are made of cement ( free hand ) individually , colored with colored oxides and glazed with a sealer. Real bread on the table , dried out and glazed."
Ms Mens told the Bay of Plenty Times in a previous article she listed her sculpture in the hope of showing it to the wider New Zealand community and one day the rest of the world. She said she listed it out of frustration after the work was refused by a number of galleries.
