If you've been thinking about checking out the entertainment on offer at the Katikati Folk Club, the Triple Bill will be the night to do it.
It will be your chance to see Western Bay of Plenty musicians playing in a concert setting, with three different acts each playing a set. The line-up includes Paul Lethbridge from Tauranga Acoustic Music Club, performing a mix of folk and contemporary songs.
Alison Collings and Michael Thornton are The Quarter Acre. They play acoustic music, tinged with folk, country and a dash of rock. Clay and Dove is formed by Caron Clay and Beccy Dove from Waihi. Together they create soaring harmonies.
"We like singing what we consider are great songs with deep lyrics and strong melodies." They sing songs by Leonard Cohen, U2, John Lennon, Sandy Denny and also perform a few of their own nature-inspired compositions.
Doors open 7pm, concert starts 7.30pm, at Katikati Bowling Club, Park Rd. Tickets at the door - adults $20, members $15, schoolchildren free.
