By all accounts, the audience is guaranteed a good night at the Indulge Bay Model competition.
The runway competition has been a run away success since the competition was launched four years ago. However a good night out isn't the only benefit of the night.
Past competitors say the prepping, polishing and pep talks prior to the night, helped them gain the courage to get up and model and that resulted in improved self confidence.
Accountant Yogeeta Devi, 34, from the Mount picked up the photogenic category in 2014. Since the show she has completed her MBA. "I feel I have more confidence now following the show. It gave me confidence, proved to myself I am not just a boring accountant. It was a talking point with my clients, who were most impressed."
From the initial entries, 15 women are selected to go forward and they are supported to gain confidence in how to pose, how to walk down a catwalk, what makes you look tall, slim and confident, and how to work that camera.
You will have great fun, meet other ladies who are likely to become friends, and hang out with the Indulge team.
"Beauty has no boundaries, whether you are a student, a young career woman, a mother, a grandmother, we will make catwalk models out of you all," says Annemarie Quill, editor of Indulge Magazine.
The skinniest legs won't necessarily win the prize either. In fact, this is a competition where big is best. "The biggest smile and the biggest attitude are what we are looking for," says Annemarie.
"Women are often the unpaid, silent heroes in life and this is a chance to celebrate everyday Bay women in all our different shapes, sizes and cultures and help them rise to new challenges."
