Mosty New Zealanders aren't known for getting dressed up. In fact, many of us tend to dress down at almost every occasion - we wear jeans to weddings, shorts to work and jandals at every opportunity. Nelson-based brand Kingdom of Klah creates characters that not only seem to have walked straight out of a Maurice Sendak (Where the Wild Things Are) book, but have their own back story explained on their website. They also all come with a story card and a royal wax seal to prove they are official (stamped by Sir Cecil Slipperfoot, Ambassador of Klah).
