Mr Peabody & Sherman(PG),
Universal

1/2

It is astounding how clever children's animated movies have become.

Although they are aimed at youngsters, there is plenty to like no matter what age you are.

Mr Peabody & Sherman is funny, entertaining and (don't tell the kids) educational.

Mr Peabody is a genius dog who has adopted a human son, Sherman.

He wants to give Sherman the home and family he never had.

He also wants to prepare Sherman for the world, so he has created a time-travelling machine to go back in history.

Sherman experiences the French Revolution, ancient Egypt and ancient Troy first-hand.

When Sherman starts school, a dispute with a classmate has dangerous ramifications.

Attempting to impress Penny, Sherman goes on an unauthorised journey.

Mr Peabody must call on all his genius if he is going to find and save Sherman - and repair the damage done to history.
