KASEY and Karena Bird, MasterChef winners, are dishing up some Matariki treats this weekend.
Maketu's dynamic duo will be at the Papamoa Library and Community Centre for the finale of the Tauranga Moana Matariki Festival.
They will talk about their food journey, sharing recipes and demonstrating their winning food skills.
The sisters were an obvious choice to involve in the Matariki Festival, according to Tauranga City Librarian, Bernie Johnson.
"Kasey and Karena are such an engaging duo, with a passion for cooking. Their creations include traditional Maori recipes that have been handed down from family members that Kasey and Karena have tweaked and added their own touch."
