Can't Be Tamed
Miley Cyrus
3.5/5
I don't know why Miley Cyrus gets grief for being a young woman who is trying new things and finding herself.
She is a successful young woman who makes some pretty good tunes.
Her latest album Can't Be Tamed features 12 tracks - including a remake of Poison's Every Rose Has Its Thorn - and gets started with a pop/rock tune called Liberty Walk, which is all about being free. Actually, a lot of the album features that theme.
I've listened through Cyrus' album a few times now and I often find myself dancing along or singing along in my head. I'm a fan of the new Miley and I'm supportive of her move to step away from the character of Hannah Montana.
My favourite songs on the album include Who Owns My Heart, Can't Be Tamed, Two More Lonely People, Stay and Scars. She's sounding a lot more grown-up and like she is singing the type of songs she actually wants to.
