On course patrons at Hatrick last Friday witnessed a very special performance when the classy greyhound Thrilling Boris handed out a chasing lesson to his Group 1 rivals in the Hatrick Classic.
Thrilling Boris went into the $25,000 event under an injury cloud following his battling fourth in the previous week's 520m heat.
Back muscle soreness, after an early racing incident, was the reason for that 'sub-par effort' after his slick prior 29.71s Hatrick 520m win.
Trainer Karen Walsh worked tirelessly on her charge's back and it was only two-days before the decider when she was confident about Thrilling Boris taking his place in the final.
Thrilling Boris took the race away from his rivals when he produced a searing first sectional which set up his superb 29.56s winning gallop.
