You could not do any better on a pressure hole to stay in the running of your local club tournament as Tasi Sua discovered with his Hole-in-One on the Par 3 second hole at the Wanganui Golf Club on Sunday.
The club was hosting their annual BNZ Men's Ladder Challenge Final, which is a knockout competition played over 18 holes at the Belmont Links.
Club golf manager Dale Cobb said Sua had previously escaped "certain elimination" on the previous hold to just stay in the tournament.
"To his credit he calmly approached the second hole with a magnificent tee shot that never looked like missing the cup.
"[It was] witnessed and acknowledged to the roar and acceptance of 19 club members.
