Holiday and after school youth clubs will continue in the current format until Marton and Taihape until October.
From then a new one-stop-shop youth service should be ready to implement and council will know if it has secured external funding.
When signing off its annual plan last week, Rangitikei District councillors decided to make available $60,000 for youth services in the district in the next year and agreed to use just under $18,000 to fund the current Marton Youth Club and Taihape Youth Hutt through to October.
Mayor Andy Watson said the public had indicated it supported spending some money on youth services.
Meanwhile council was talking to several Government ministries and funding groups about receiving external financial support.
