Hunterville School primary pupils are learning about wool at The Wool Shed.

Hunterville School primary pupils are learning about wool at The Wool Shed.

Wool and all its attributes are being checked out by the children at Hunterville School over the next two weeks with the arrival of The Wool Shed.

The shed travels to schools throughout the North Island and is sponsored by the Wool NZ Trust and PGG Wrightson

Even though it is aimed at intermediate level students, it is being enjoyed by kids of all ages, and their parents.

The Wool Shed is a 20-foot shipping container packed with interactive learning tools for students. It supports learning across technology, maths, science, economics and English curriculum areas.

The Wool Shed is all about helping children learn about the wide variety of products made from wool, and study its unique attributes.
