Abroad: The Travel Journals & Paintings of Cranleigh Harper Barton

Details: Written by Gerry Barton, great nephew of the artist, these selected journal entries and watercolours shine a light on the richness of this artist's life in New Zealand and abroad in the first half of the 20th century. The Sarjeant has thirty of Barton's watercolours in its permanent collection. Paiges Book Gallery will be present and publisher Roger Steele will talk. Refreshments will be served.

Details: A series of five films spread over 10 weeks which explore how movies help us to understand our personal lives. This will explore (at an individual level) what can be learned about oneself from watching movies and reflecting on life's journey.
