Staff from Horizons Regional Council invite Whanganui people to join them in picking up rubbish at Castlecliff Beach on Saturday morning.
It's the first day of this year's Sea Week, and the weather forecast is good.
The spruce up runs from 10am to noon, and participants will be in for spot prizes and a barbecue afterward.
The activity will be set up between the Duncan Pavilion and Surf Club building.
