Whanganui & Partners is advertising for a new general manager following the sudden departure of Philippa Ivory last month.
The district's economic development agency was rocked by the resignation Ivory just seven months into the job.
She was to leave on September 14 but the parties "mutually agreed" to bring the departure forward.
The job advertisement says Whanganui & Partners is seeking a "new leader to drive economic development, organisational excellence, partnership and sustainable growth".
"The position will encourage collaboration around a strong partnership with iwi, business, education, sport and the arts, and local government.
