The line-up for this year's Whanganui Literary Festival has been announced and includes a wide range of award-winning authors.
The festival will kick off on September 30 with fringe events leading up to the gala opening on October 6. The main events take place over the following two days.
Adam Dudding, who this week took out the EH McCormick Best First Book award for general non-fiction at the Ockham New Zealand Book awards, will be joined by CK Stead, Fiona Farrell, Selina Tusitala Marsh, Roger Hall, Nick Bollinger, Sarah Laing, Jo Seagar, Christodoulos Moisa and Terry Sarten.
The authors will take part in a series of talks and workshops.
This year's festival was originally scheduled for September 23 but has been pushed back so as not to clash with the general election.
