What: The Wanganui Model Railway and Engineering Society is hosting the bi-annual Wanganui Model Railway Expo with model railway displays from all over the North Island.
When: Saturday, September 30-Sunday, October 1, 10am-4pm both days.

ATTN KNITTERS & CROCHETERS
What: Stitch 'n' Chat. BYO yarncraft project; from complete beginners through to uber-experienced knitters/crocheters, making it the ideal place for people to learn a new craft or further develop existing skills.

SCRAPBOOKING AND CARD MAKING CLASSES

What: Five Wanganui artists have their work on display for sale. One of them is working in Creations each trading day.
Opportunity: Workshops for Chalkpainting, Powertex, Textile Art and Glass Jewellery to name a few are available. Chalk Paint and Powertex products are available at Creations but all products required for workshops are included in the workshop price. Book your workshops to avoid missing out as classes fill up quickly.
