Today is Daffodil Day and people of all ages are getting behind the fundraiser for the Cancer Society.
Milo Grammaticogiannis, 23 months, took some daffodils ordered from the Cancer Society to his great-nana on her birthday.
Volunteers will be on the streets of Whanganui to help with 27 booths set up to raise money for the Whanganui-Rangitikei-Waimarino Cancer Society.
There is a pop-up shop at 122 Victoria Ave selling Daffodil Day cupcakes as well as Daffodil Day merchandise and other stock. There is also a Daffodil Day merchandise store at Trafalgar Square.
There will be a stall at the Whanganui River Markets on Saturday.
