Wanganui Riding for the Disabled is celebrating its 40th anniversary tomorrow night with a variety concert.
The fundraising concert starts at 7pm at Purcell St and runs for two hours with a mix of music and other entertainment.
Among the stars are mezzo soprano Hayley Sellars and Kupe Renata from the Black Trio.
Hayley Sellars is a past client of Wanganui RDA through a spinal injury. She and her horse still volunteer at Wanganui RDA. The mezzo soprano is studying music at Waikato University and training with Glenese Blake, a former international opera singer.
Kupe Renata is a vocalist and musician who as a member of The Black Trio gained a very popular wildcard entry into New Zealand's Got Talent.
