Two central Whanganui streets will be closed for several nights to allow repairs and resurfacing work to be done.
Guyton St, between Victoria Ave and Wicksteed St, will be closed for repair work between 6pm and 6am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week, a Whanganui District Council spokeswoman said. Resurfacing of the road will be done next Sunday and Monday nights.
Drews Ave, between Ridgway St and Watt St, will be resurfaced next Sunday and Tuesday nights.
Detours will be in place during the closure periods. The streets will be open during the day with parking available as usual.
