Nineteen-year-old Turakina woman Sophie Redmayne has been using her break from university to put her new skills to work alongside her father's enterprise.
She has been selling a box containing a leg of branded Coastal Spring Lamb - called The Perfect Christmas Gift - to Whanganui businesses, for use as a gift to staff.
The brand is owned by her father, Richard Redmayne, and his farming partners.
Thousands of early North Island lambs are killed for it every year, and the meat has won two food awards.
Sophie is at Canterbury University studying commerce and majoring in marketing. Last summer she worked at Affco's Imlay networks. This summer she's working on the Redmayne farm at Tunnel Hill near Turakina.
