The New Zealand Taxi Federation will hold its annual conference in Wanganui next week. Taxi drivers and managers from around New Zealand and Australia will be in the city for the two-day conference which starts on Monday.
Federation executive director Roger Heale said on doing research they had been pleasantly surprised by the colourful history of Wanganui and the variety of options for visitors.
"While we are there to discuss some of the bigger issues affecting our industry, we also have a number of expeditions planned. We are looking forward to a productive and enjoyable stay," he said.
