UCOL has scored highly in a global survey of international student satisfaction.
The biennial International Student Barometer survey was filled out by 145,354 international students from 185 institutions in 19 countries.
Student satisfaction with UCOL was 93 per cent overall, slightly ahead of other New Zealand polytechnics, whose average was87.9 per cent.
For the survey, international students were asked to rate their institution on class size, learning, teaching and course content, as well as access to accommodation and living costs.
The International Student Benchmark gives institutions a benchmark on student satisfaction, so they can see how they are tracking against other institutions, and better understand their student populations.
UCOL's executive director of business development, Arthur Chin, said international students were an important part of UCOL.
"They give domestic students an opportunity to be immersed in other cultures. It gives students coming to New Zealand a study environment they can thrive in.
"We are glad this has been reflected in the latest ISB results," Dr Chin said.
