Students at Whanganui's Faith City School have shown their love for the Christchurch terror attack victims.
Senior students at Faith City School arrived at school on Monday, March 18, "withdrawn and down, like everyone in New Zealand", principal Ruth McLeay said.
The usual morning prayers for the whole school were cancelled so senior students could have prayer time and a discussion with a teacher about how they were feeling, away from the junior students.
"The Year 8 student leaders had a meeting and came up with the idea of a mufti day to raise money for Christchurch," McLeay said.
The mufti day raised more than $300. The students also organised a memorial book and invited the community in to the school to sign it. The book will be sent to Christchurch.
