Search starts for city's top cook

The Hits and Harvey Norman Wanganui are on the search for Wanganui's best cook.
Any locals who think they've got what it takes to become Wanganui's best cook have the chance to wow the judges on September 3 at Harvey Norman.
Entries opened on Monday, August 15 where people can register at thehits.co.nz/win. Contestants can cook their signature dish to impress the panel of judges and secure their place in the finals which will be selected from the top four dishes on the day. These four contestants will go on to compete in the final on September 10.
There are fantastic prizes up for grabs thanks to Harvey Norman - each finalist will receive a prize pack worth $249 and the overall winner will be crowned Best Cook and win a Sony Bluetooth Speaker System and Delonghi Latissima Silver coffee capsule machine worth $499. Thanks also to the good people at New World Wanganui who will supply the ingredients for the cook-off final.
