"Can we survive Trump?" will be the question posed at the next Whanganui Science Forum talk.
The speaker is Professor Richard Shaw, of Massey University's School of People, Environment and Planning, who will address the following points:
Does the President of the United States really have sole control over the nuclear codes?
Is the risk of a nuclear conflagration or climate breakdown heightened when that President is a populist politician?
How did it come to this and what can we do about it?
The forum will be at the Davis Lecture Theatre at 7.30pm on Tuesday, September 26. The entry fee is $4 for Whanganui Science Forum members and $5 for non-members.
