Road blocked for short time but no injuries in two-car collision near State Highway 3 roundabout in Whanganui

There was some vehicle damage but no-one was injured in a two-car crash near a major city roundabout.

No one was injured in a two-car collision near the Carlton Ave-Jackson St-Alma Rd roundabout this afternoon.

A police spokeswoman said police were called to the scene near State Highway 3/Carlton Ave about 1.45pm and the road was blocked for a short time but cleared just after 2pm.

A St John spokeswoman said there were no injuries to the people in the vehicles.
