Wanganui residential and commercial properties are being lined up for major promotion targeting investment in regional New Zealand.
Bayleys, the country's biggest real estate company, has included River City properties in an upcoming promotion in Auckland after picking up on a lead from the Government to push investment in the regions.
Economic development minister Steven Joyce said the Government was spreading its spending across the regions in a bid to boost business growth and with it incomes and support for families in those areas.
Mr Joyce said the Government was committed to strengthening regional investment "helping them achieve their potential and boosting jobs and quality of life for all".
Mike Bayley, managing director of Bayleys, said his company was preparing an exclusive marketing campaign taking regions such as Wanganui to Auckland-based investors and home owners who were looking for affordable housing and business investment opportunities.
