Dublin-based dance company Rhythms of Ireland are on their way to Whanganui and will perform at the Opera House on Anzac Day evening.
Lead dancer Ashleigh John is one of six New Zealanders in the company and is both a local and international champion.
She began dancing in Auckland at age 4, after being inspired by a Riverdance video.
In 2010, she toured with Dance of Desire in Australia and has gone on to perform across North America and Europe as a lead dancer with Rhythm of the Night, Hear the Dance and most recently Danceperados of Ireland.
The Rhythms of Ireland, have been seen by over two million people worldwide and have been praised for "stunningly executed performances".
