On Behalf, at Whanganui's Milbank Gallery, is an exhibition of pre-loved art gathered to enable art lovers a rare opportunity to provide new homes.
The works on offer are by Phillipa Blair, Connie Booth, M Dick, Don Driver, Rodney Fumpston, Rowan Gardiner, B Gilberd, Joan Grehan, Jack Hammond, Sheila Hoare, Rata Lovell-Smith, Neville Mawhinney, Scott McFarlane, Bruce Phillips, Simon Ray, Kura Rewiri-Thorsen, John Scott, James Stewart and Norman Hurn.
The Hurn works and some others are being sold on behalf of the recently closed Nazareth House.
"The sale of these works will provide them with funds towards a new project they are working on," says Milbank.
A private collector has contributed a number of works by Whanganui artist Joan Grehan and there is a selection of her paintings, screenprints and ceramic masks on offer.
