Taihape's legendary pub, the Gretna Hotel, will celebrate its reopening anniversary on March 19.
Local Jordan Winiata-Haine's company, Awarua A & J Ltd, bought the business and reopened the 119-year-old pub in March 2015, after a three-month closure following the death of its 85-year-old lessee, Norm Theobald.
Manager Kim Steedman said to celebrate there would two bands playing 60s and 70s music starting about "8ish".
"It's a rage.That's what we're calling it, and that's what it will be.
The car park has been let as a campervan park and staff are hoping the anniversary night will attract outsiders, she said.
