Teacher Lyn Coker said the storyline was put together by staff and there was a part for every child.
"Dr Who arrives in Wellington and visits the city centre, the Basin Reserve and a library. The children represent the characters he meets in Wellington and from inside the books he opens in the library."
The doctor's Tardis spaceship has been created by set designers alongside a panel depicting Wellington's Cuba Mall, a library and the Basin Reserve. The cast perform a range of songs from classic to contemporary as they move through the scenes.
There was a matinee performance in the school hall on Thursday and an evening performance on Friday and yesterday; there will be a final performance on tonight.
