Police are making enquiries into an incident at the Castlecliff Hotel on Monday afternoon in which a man left the premises with an unknown amount of money.
A spokesperson confirmed police attended the scene on Polson St at 3.50pm.
Five police cars were seen in the area and the hotelwas in lockdown for an unspecified amount of time.
Police have been approached for further details.
