Do you see your future as the dispenser of such sage advice? Then get along to the Whanganui Police open day on Sunday, March 11, to find out more about what the police do.
The Bell St police station is opening its doors to the public from 10am to 2pm on Sunday, with displays and tours of the station plus recruitment information for people interested in joining the force.
Senior Constable Tanya Ross said static displays will be set up in the station's back carpark.
"People will be able to see members of the armed offenders squad and their firearms and uniforms and look at a DVD of the work they do," Ms Ross said.
