New York-based singer, songwriter and pianist Dan Bolton will perform in Whanganui next month.
Mr Bolton will play a one-off gig at Wanganui Repertory Theatre on August 14 as part of a 12-venue tour of the country.
Originally from Cairns, Australia, Mr Bolton lived in New Zealand during the 1990s. He travelled up and down the country playing gigs, including a couple in Whanganui.
'[New Zealand is] a great place to tour. The distances between venues aren't so far and the audiences were very receptive to my music on the last tour," he said.
Mr Bolton has been based in New York for more than four years and has recorded three studio albums there.
