The Whanganui District Council has granted Quay Investments Limited resource consent for a two lot subdivision at 185 London Street with a five year expiration.
Energy-efficient building company, eHaus, have sign posted the site - on London Street next to the BP service station - ready for developments.
Principal council planner, Jonathan Barrett , said resource consent for a separate title for the housing development has been granted and earthworks and drainage design is currently being addressed.
Wanganui eHaus has been operating for over six years now. It now has buildings in New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Waikato, Auckland, Waiheke, Christchurch, Dunedin and Wanaka.
