Further rates remissions have been given to flood-affected property owners in Whanganui.
Whanganui District Council voted on Tuesday to give a further 50 per cent rate remission to properties with dangerous building notices caused by the flood in June last year.
It means those properties have now had all rates remitted for the 2015/16 year.
Council deputy chief executive Julian Harkness said it was about showing that "council have a bit of heart".
Owners of properties not covered by the automatic remission can apply to the council for a rate remission or postponement.
