The Marton Country Music Festival attracted a crowd of around 2500 during the weekend, and organiser Anne George said it was the best one yet.
The annual festival held at Sir James Wilson Memorial Park in Rira St, Marton attracts larger crowds each year, and Mrs George said it was now one of the biggest country music events in Australasia.
Performers ranged from international headliners Justin Standley from Australia and Joni Harms from America to young first-timers like Shamika Hoeta from Hawera.
"Shamika was just amazing," said Mrs George.
"She sang beautifully and the crowd loved her."
