The monthly Seaside Market outside the Duncan Pavilion will be a regular event following initial success.
It was set up by Jessica Stratford to raise money for her cat rescue organisation Second Chance Kittys.
"The first one was amazing, the second one wasn't really because of the weather," she said.
It will held on the second Sunday of the month from 11am to 2pm and Miss Stratford said she had interest from about 20 stallholders for Sunday's market.
The market has raised $300 for Second Chance Kittys, which is spending about $600 a month on cat food. On top of that is de-sexing costs, which the organisation pays half of. Since it started in January, 120 cats have been taken in with 94 re-homed.
