The owner of a missing dog has been told of about 10 sightings but still hasn't found his pet.
John Blake lost his dog Storm while fencing near Belmont Golf Course on June 8. The 12-year-old dog is large and coloured a reddish tan. He has a grey muzzle and wonky back legs that shoot sideways sometimes when he walks.
Since Mr Blake's story about losing him was in the Chronicle he has had a lot of phone calls from people who have seen a dog that may be Storm.
The dog has been seen in Seafront Rd twice, in Thatcher St, in Aotea St, in Smithfield Rd and in Toi St. One person even videoed a very similar dog that was in Nixon St and then crossed Dublin St Bridge.
"In all these sightings, one of them must be him."
